Sport & events
At a sports event, the start and finish areas determine the picture the press takes home. An arch, a stage and the right dressing turn an ordinary race into an event that looks professional — and where sponsors can find themselves.

What this gives you
From first sketch to maintenance — one partner who handles everything in-house.
One partner, from A to Z
You call one number. We measure, design, produce, install and maintain. No fragmented responsibility, no waiting on subcontractors pointing at each other.
You see it before it exists
A 3D visualisation of your own façade or space, by day and by night. We only start producing once that image is right. No surprises afterwards.
In-house production in Olen
Custom work from our own workshops, without intermediaries. That means a shorter lead time, a sharper price, and changes that are genuinely still possible.
Built to last
ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Colourfast, weather-resistant materials and energy-efficient LED lighting. With long-term service and maintenance.
Sport and events: equipment that lasts several editions
What sets event equipment apart from ordinary advertising is that it has to do two things at once: last several editions and show different sponsors each time.
That is not a detail but the starting point for everything here. Buying a completely new arch every year because the sponsor has changed means paying three times for the same structure.
Arches: the emblem of every sporting event
Inflatable advertising arches
Round or rectangular, quick to set up and visible from a distance. The classic start and finish arch of a cycling race or a running event. They go up in half an hour and pack away into a van.
Advertising arches in fixed construction
Sturdier and suited to multi-day use. Where an inflatable arch goes up and down each day, a fixed structure stays put for a weekend or a week, even in less favourable weather.
Nose boards and finish dressing
They complete the picture and turn a street into a finish area. The difference between a race that happens to end somewhere and a race with a real finish lies largely in this equipment.
Stages and platforms
We supply stages and platforms in modules, so you can adapt the height and dimensions to the location.
For a prize-giving, a speech or a DJ booth: the same elements, a different arrangement. That matters for organisations running several kinds of occasion through the year that do not want to store three different stages.
Interchangeable fabrics on fixed structures
That is why we work with interchangeable fabrics on fixed structures: the frame and the arch stay, and only the printed fabric changes when your sponsors change.
It is the cheapest way to look new every year. It is also the only way to add a sponsor mid-season without replacing the whole set-up.
In practice you invest in the structure in year one and order only print in the years that follow.
The experience behind this equipment
Herva-Doublet is part of the Doublet Group, which dresses events such as the Tour de France, Paris-Roubaix and the Ironman races.
That is not boasting but a practical point: equipment built up and taken down every day for three weeks along a two-thousand-kilometre route is designed to survive it. The same structures and the same fixing principles end up at a provincial cycling race or a local fun run.
What determines the price?
With event equipment it pays to look at price across several years rather than per purchase. An inflatable arch with blower and ballast is a one-off investment; the fabric on it is the recurring cost.
For the structure, span, build quality and the ballast that suits the ground all count. For the fabric, area, quantity and single or double-sided printing apply.
And then there is logistics: transport, set-up and take-down. For a one-off event that item weighs more than the equipment itself; for a recurring event it becomes negligible once you own the equipment.
Prices are available in the Herva-Doublet Platform.
Supply, or set-up and take-down
We supply, and if required we handle the set-up and take-down.
For a first edition we recommend the latter, even though it costs more: a first build is always slower than planned, and on the morning of a race you do not have that time. From the second edition onwards most organisations do it themselves.
Tell us about your route
Tell us where the start and finish are, how many sponsors you have to show and whether the event returns annually. With that we will propose a set-up that works this year and needs only new print next year.
