How people move, rest and come together

Circalle, formerly Green Furniture Concept, is a Swedish design company based in Malmö. It designs the spatial elements that shape how a shared environment functions: where people sit, where they pass through, how loud it is. Herva-Doublet is reseller and project partner in Belgium. We advise, work out the layout, deliver, install with our own teams and remain your point of contact.

Advice, spatial design, delivery, installation

A large space does not work by itself

Waiting areas, lobbies and circulation zones are rarely designed to stay in. Rows of chairs fill the floor, sound bounces between hard surfaces, and people would rather stand. The space functions, but it does not work.

Circalle starts from the environment itself. Seating follows the floor plan instead of cutting through it. Lighting dampens ambient sound at the same time. And the modules mark out zones, so a large hall breaks down into places with their own scale.

Five series, one design language

Every series is modular and highly configurable. Which options exist — dimensions, finishes, backrests, integrated planters or lighting — differs per series. Together with you we look at which series suits your space and how it is used.

Pelago

A modular concept of seating, planters and bins, with soft, rounded shapes drawn from the Nordic archipelago. Eight modules in one design language, from a compact cluster to a large composition, extendable and rearrangeable. Optionally with integrated charging. The wood is treated with hard wax oil free of VOCs.

Ascent

A flexible seating system with sculpted contours and a descending backrest, developed together with architects. It guides movement and marks out zones. The Rise, Back, Bench and Planters modules combine straight and curved. Double-curved plywood, wood from responsibly managed forests and recycled steel.

Coming soon

A new series that has not launched yet. Let us know if you want to hear whether Arcio fits within your project's planning.

The Pelago series also includes bins for separate waste collection.

Circular logic, concretely

Circalle designs according to circular logic. That is not a label but a way of working, and it comes down to four choices.

Repair before replacement

Where applicable, parts are individually replaceable. A damaged slat then does not mean the whole element has to go.

Material choice per series

Materials are chosen for lifespan, origin and reusability. Which materials are in which series differs. Ask us for the material sheet of the series you are considering.

Long life cycle

The construction is calculated for the intensity of shared spaces and for long-term performance and adaptability.

Maintenance on site

The wood is finished with hard wax oil and can be maintained on site. For the series where this applies, components remain available for reordering.

The exact material, repairability and lifespan characteristics differ per series and per version. We will provide the specifications of the series you are considering.

  1. 1

    Advisory conversation

We look at the environment, its use and the budget. Which series fits, how many seats are realistic, and where does the acoustic gain lie?

  2. 2

    Spatial design and 3D

For larger projects we work on this with the spatial design team of Circalle. You see the configuration in your own floor plan before anything is ordered.

  3. 3

    Configuration and quotation

We set out the modules, finishes and options. You receive one quotation, including delivery and installation.

  4. 4

    Delivery and installation

Our teams install on site, aligned with your opening hours and site planning.

What we add

What we add is the process around it: a point of contact in your language and time zone, experience with shared spaces in Belgium, and the option to combine these series with the rest of your fit-out. Wayfinding, acoustics, facade cladding and signage all run through the same point of contact with us.

For public tenders we compile the technical documentation your specifications require.

Send us your floor plan or a few photos of the space. You get a first assessment of what is possible — which range fits, how many seats, and what the acoustic gain could be.
